This is based on a homemade solution we've recommended for years to artists for three specific uses. First, it's a terrific all-around lean and thin painting medium. Second, It's ideal for oiling out a painting before deciding if the painting is ready to varnished or if there's more painting to be done. And finally, it's the perfect tool for preparing wood panels for painting and before priming them with Gamblin Ground.
